Our story began when we recognized the need to protect children who lost their parents during the 1985 earthquake. Initially, we established a home shelter for them, and over time we diversified our activities, developing high-quality programs that gained government recognition.
We are dedicated to make sure children can grow in a family environment, either through adoption or family reunification. We provide shelter, education, and care for a large number of children whose rights have been violated. Additionally, our institution is a benchmark in creating public policies for Private Assistance Institutions.
More than 100 families start an adoption process with Unnido Foundation every year.
We have united more than 650 children with their families.
We provide legal support to over 10 group homes to ensure the well-being of their residents.
We offer psychological, medical, emotional, and educational support to 78 children in Mexico City and 60 in Jalisco.
We provide over 1,255 hours of psychological care annually to Mexican children, adolescents, and families, promoting healthy emotional development and facilitating adoption processes.
On average, 480 medical consultations are held monthly to ensure the physical and mental health of children and adolescents.
Our objective is to reach more children, that is why today we are not only present in Mexico City, but also in Jalisco, the State of Mexico and Hidalgo. We are also working on a new expansion towards the north of the country so we can get to more children living without family care.
